Mike Moran Music

It’s been a while, and a lot has happened. Especially with my music. It’s been two years now since the move to San Diego and even though sometimes it seems like not a lot has been accomplished, you have to keep pushing. Over the past couple weeks I have been able to perform three of my newer songs on live television here in San Diego. It’s been a blast, and although the spots have been quick, and I wasn’t able to get the whole song in, they have served a purpose.

More and more people have come out to the shows and given me encouragement and kind words. The song that I have been performing is called “You’re the one that I love”. It was written for Mike and Rachel Underwood who were married on 9-10-11. It has given me a bit of a new life songwriting wise and I hope to record it soon. I thank all of those who have commented on the song. It’s going to be a joy to see where it goes. My goal is to have three fully produced songs “Closer”, “Reload,” and “Your the one that I love” ready by Feb 2011 to present at the Durango Songwriters Expo.

I fully intend on making this happen. Things are tough out there and more than ever I am falling back on my main goal which is to be the best songwriter I can possibly be.
