New Website goes live this weekend!

Very excited about the new website going live this weekend! There will be lots of great updates that have been long overdue and we are currently still in the process of building the merch store full of cool and odd things. As of right now we are mapping out our tour schedule and I am in the process of writing and arranging my next album. Once the new website is live you will be able to sign up for our mailing list and receive our newsletter every two weeks. Other than that thanks for all the support and I hope you enjoy the new website.

Settled in San Diego

It’s been a long series of events and a lot of traveling but finally my lady Mikah, my dog Toto, and I are settled in San Diego. Yes the weather is awesome. Tonight I played an open mic at RT’s Longboard Grill in Pacific Beach. The first time I have played since my last show at Kilkennys Sept 24th. It was a little rusty but it was great to see people from Rochester, Clarkston, and Traverse City all the way out here on the west coast.

I have got a ton of work to do but it is great to announce that I have finalized a marketing deal which will market my music on a national level for the next three years! Thanks for all the support everyone and I know I keep saying this but the new website should be up pretty soon. Hope all is well in your world!

2 1/2 Weeks Left in Michigan

It’s starting to finally hit me that I’ll be leaving for San Diego to start performing on a national level. I have lived in Traverse City since August of 02 and this is where I became a performing songwriter. I had never gigged at bar until I moved here, never gotten paid for a gig, hell I hardly knew how to sing and play anything. That was seven years ago and now with encouragement from family, close friends, and great fans I am out to further my career.

Here are my remaining shows in Northern Michigan.

Lots of Big News Coming with in the Week.

Hello to all and thanks to coming out to the Microbrewery and Music Festival on Aug 29th. It was a awesome festival and day despite the worst weather we have had all summer. I have a lot of big things to announce officially over the next week. We are currently updating the website with tons of media resources and you will be able to listen, watch, and get an up to date schedule on this site.

This is also my last month in Michigan, the original plan was to be on tour starting Sept 29th, but I will be taking a little time off to regroup, finish some new songs, and move to a new location. I’m excited to get out and travel across country and play my songs to as many people as possible.

The website should be making some some big changes with a new schedule format with in the next couple days but here are my shows for this upcoming week.

Tuesday Sept 1 Holiday Inn for the Young Professionals with Levi Britton from 5pm until 7pm

Thursday Sept 3 Kilkenny’s 9:30pm until 1:30am

Friday Sept 4 Bay Harbor Yacht Club 8pm until 11pm

Saturday Sept 5 All Day Wedding

Sunday Sept 6 Union Street Station 10pm until Close

My last gig in Traverse City is Sept 24th at Kilkennys.

Traverse City Music and Microbrew Festival

I am very excited for this Saturday. The 1st annual Traverse City Music and Microbrew festival is taking place at The Village in Traverse City. That of course is the old state hospital grounds right outside of Building 50. There are a ton of great acts and I’ll be playing with my good friend Levi Britton. Traverse City Film Festival Performances

On Sunday August 2nd, I’ll be peforming at the the Traverse City Film Festival three times. I already peformed on July 28th before Men in Black before a great new band called Phenomenal Head. My friend Kyle Sullivan is in this band and they were a ton of fun. As far as Sunday goes here is my schedule.

Sunday Aug 2: 3 pm at Milliken Seraphine

Sunday Aug 2: 4:30pm Lay Park at Union Street This will be an all ages event and a ton of fun for the kids

I know we have been shamelessly promoting this show but it is well worth it. Colin Hay is one of my favorite performing songwriters of all time and I can’t wait for this night. It takes place on Monday night July 20th at the City Opera House. Tickets can be purchased at 231 941 8082 or at www.cityoperahouse.org.

Also you can win tickets on 92.9 the Breeze up here in Traverse City. Check out www.929thebreeze.com. This is going to be a nice night between the storms of Cherry Fest and Film Fest. It will be a great date night and here are some more facts about the show.

Stella has taken over all beverage services at the City Opera House. We all know this has been a problem at many of the shows at the Opera House in the past. Very excited that they will be working the show.

We are going to ask the audience to please be quiet during the performances. If you feel the need for conversation please feel free to do so in the lobby. We understand that you pay a lot of money for these shows but in order for us to keep these great artists to keep coming to The Opera House for an intimate show they are requesting that we keep talking to a minimum during performance.

I also want to thank my Close friend and manager Charlie Peterson. This is his show and he made it happen. He is responsible for Colin Hay coming to the Opera House and I want to throw a big shout out to him. Thank you Charles aka Red Balls.

Cherry Festival and Rothbury!

There has been a change of plans recently and I will be able to perform at the Cherry Festival this year. It will take place on the Wednesday @ 7:30pm with Levi Britton and Paul Hurlburt before the 64 Tribute. I have played on Wednesday over the last three years and thought I was going to get another night but I am very happy with this outcome as well.

I would like to thank Sam Porter and his team at Porterhouse Productions for bringing me to Rothbury. I ended up Performing three out of the four days of Rothbury with an hour slot on Sunday. It was an amazing trip for me and I was able to meet artists like Brett Dennen, Chris Pierce, and many more. I also want to thank Clif Bar and Green Notes for inviting me to play daily on their stage. It is a relationship I hope grows in the future. I also want to thank my manager and friend Charlie Peterson for representing me down there and helping me out when ever I needed it.

Tonight at the Terminal with Levi Britton

Levi and I are back at the Terminal tonight playing as a duo at 9:30pm. This has been a blast for me to play with Levi he is one of my favorite performing songwriters and an even better person. I have a nice week of gigs.

It’s finally warming up and I hope all over you can get outside enjoy the weather. I will not be performing July 2 thru the 4th for I get to go to Rothbury thanks to Porter House! Which I am excited about. I also will not be performing at the Cherry Festival stage this year. I will be playing with the full band at Union Street Station on the Wednesday night of Cherry Fest starting at 9pm.

Colin Hay tickets are picking up big time and you need to get yours quick. It is going to be a the best summer date/concert of the year in Traverse and I really hope you can make it out. It’s on a Monday night July 20th. Tickets are available at 231 941 8082 and www.cityoperahouse.org.
